The street tacos and quesadillas here are FANTASTIC. There’s a flavor and quality of cook that’s just different than any other place we’ve been to in the area. The beef fajita and pork is seasoned and prepared just right. Not over or under. The corn tortillas have a texture and taste that we can’t usually find... almost a deeper umami. But don’t sleep on the flour tortilla on the quesadilla... with that buttery lightly browned chew and the Mexican cheese. And today they surprised us with charro beans! Oh man, we can eat these all day. Salty, savory, meaty, and delicious. We crave it and plan our schedules around when they open.
We had very high expectations of Taco King from hearing all the rave reviews online and from the community. We finally got to try it for the first time last week and WOW was it delicious!! The pastor tacos were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the corn tortillas had a ton of flavor. The stand out dish though was something we had never heard of, the campechanos! We ordered the quesadilla with this heavenly mix of meats in it and were blown away by how amazing it was. If you're a street taco fan this place is an absolute must try and don't leave without trying the campechanos! Also this truck is cash only
Good food, but tacos used to be 1 just a few years ago. Now, they are almost double(1.75) in a short period of time.
I’ve had this spot saved on my “to go” list for 2-3 years. I have been blown away by two taco spots I’ve found in Dallas these last few months during business trips. Imagine my surprise when I get here at 6-7pm on a Friday night and I have to wait in line behind 15 other people just to get my tacos at a food truck. These are the best damn tacos I’ve ever had. They set the bar. This is my #1 spot now and I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner.

We’ve been eating the most incredible street tacos from Taco King for years now and while tacos used to me 1 and now there 1.50 they’re still delicious. Best I’ve found in cypress and maybe in all of Houston. Simple affordable fast and tasty food. They offer some added traditional treats like cactus and avocado and their charro beans. Made from scratch. And only 1.50
I have to say that The Taco King tacos are the best!! They have perfected the Taco in every way. They have 3 kinds and each are exactly what you want when you want tacos. For a 1.00 you get a Taco that rivals even some of the fancier places around. Even Torchy's can't beat these tacos. I highly recommend getting tacos from The Taco King!! Covid-19 protocols in place.
De lo mejor! This is the spot to go! For some authentic delicious street tacos. parking can be hectic, also line gets long but goes by fast! We drive 25 min to get tacos, worth it
